As an intermediate backyard BBQ, I was looking to take my skills to the next level. This product does that. I have used this to wrap with brisket and used on beef ribs after going unwrapped the entire time. It made the brisket more moist and as I use a pellet grill allowed me to go lower temp longer and not risk drying out. After cooking I vacuum seal my meat and freeze and throw a tablespoon of this in there. When warming in a sous vide it adds flavor and moistness to the meat. Great product.

We’re trying to get away from seed oils as more and more information is coming out. (Look up polyunsaturated fat vs saturated fat). Bought this product on a whim and happy that I did. This makes food taste so much better. I thought it was a little on the pricey side but it lasts quite a while and will definitely be buying when needed. The same company has sprayable beef tallow as well, which is pretty convenient. My ONLY issue is with the shipping/packaging. Ours opened during transit and leaked quite a bit and made a mess. Maybe put the container in a bag to contain any spillage.

Not sure if it was me, or this, but my brisket that I smoked for 18 hours came out perfect, the best thing I have ever made to date. Was it me? maybe, was it the grill? Probably, or did this add that extra touch, yup. A little goes a long way and at this rate this will last me years (even though the expiration doesn’t state that) I’m sure it’s fine. I’ll continue to use on my beef whether grilled or smoked. It showed up on time, and undamaged. I have not needed customer service so can’t comment on that, but would not hesitate to buy this brand, from this seller again.

This is what was used when I was a child. I use cast iron to fry, Crisco, Wesson, etc. are not the same for flavor, also this seasons cast iron as it fries. It’s a natural product and after reading they claim this is better for a person than the other stuff. I even use this to make blackened chicken breasts and it’s perfect. I don’t care for the flavor of the other oils at all anymore.

I use this tallow to sear the outside of my sous vide steaks (using a 500k BTU torch) and it is next level. They turn out great and the drippings stay within the cast iron skillets so my guests can dip their steaks in the juices for a fantastic flavor. I just ordered my second one as I will not cook a steak without this anymore.

Have only had 2 types of tallow, and this one is exceptional in comparison. The other kind I was buying was an expensive grass-fed brand, the taste was so-so, and it had a harder texture. This one is creamy & it’s literally good enough to eat by the spoonful. Didn’t know tallow could taste so good. This will definitely be my go-to from now on.
